What is myPSU Course Studio?

myPSU Course Studio is a set of online tools that enable course communications through email, a message board, calendar, and chat.  In addition, these tools allow your instructor to share files, links, photos, and news.

How to Use OAM to Manage your Existing Odin Account

This article will describe how to use the ODIN Account Manager (OAM) system to manage your ODIN account. OAM allows you to synchronize your ODIN account with your PSU Information System (Banweb) login, so that you may use one username and password to access all PSU computing resources. If you ever forget your password, OAM also has a handy 'Forgot Password' feature that will allow you to reset your own login information from any computer 24/7, without having to verify your identity with the User Support Services Helpdesk.

How to Use OAM to Create your Odin Account

This article will describe the process of creating a new ODIN account using the Odin Account Manager (OAM) system. OAM serves as a centralized account management site where you can create your account, change your password, and manage your mail options. Faculty and Staff will now be able to update their PSU Directory information directly though OAM.

myPSU Consolidated Courses: Faculty Guide

Faculty may use consolidated courses to create a parent course for storing course materials and managing electronic communications for multiple course sections.  For example, an instructor has a course cross listed in two departments.  If course materials are the same, then the instructor might benefit from posting the materials once to a consolidated or parent course which students from both sections may access.  If an email or announcement needs to be sent to both sections, this may now be done so using the consolidated course instead of posting the communication to each se

myPSU Course Studio Work Flow

Prior to Start of Term

  1. Banner Course Data is loaded into myPSU (typically the Friday before registration opens).
  2. Select Course Studio as your course materials tools from “Courses” tab in the portal.
  3. Optional:  Set-up Consolidated Course or use the Copy Coures Content Channel to manage re-use of course materials
    • Repeat courses may be added to the consolidated course to access saved course materials.

How to configure the Financial Advisor Channel in myPSU

The Financial Advisor channel can be used by PSU employees to view Budget Status information. First, you will need to either subscribe to the Manager tab (see Creating, Subscribing, or Deleting a Tab), or add the channel to an existing tab.
