This article will describe how to configure Windows XP to manage your computer's wireless connection. Many computer manufacturers create their own wireless networking software utilities and install it on their machines from the factory. If you are having trouble connecting, it can be easier to troubleshoot the issue if you allow Windows to manage your connections. Since there are so many different, manufacturer-specific wireless interfaces, User Support Services does not provide support for any other utilities except the standard Windows interface.

This network will in no way eliminate the security risks associated with connecting your computer to the Internet but they will seriously reduce the number of potential attacks available to hackers with physical proximity to your computer while on campus. How to check if your wireless card supports the PSU Secure wireless networks (WPA capable) in Windows XP

I am unable to join the secure wireless network and either receive an error message or the Wireless Network Connections window crashes when attempting to join the PSU Secure network. Other PSU networks seem to work properly.
