Mailing lists at Portland State University allow a group of people to communicate using just one simple email address. When you send an email to the list address all the people subscribed to the list will receive your email. Also, your email will be archived on a web page that you can go to and read at a later time.
Mailing lists will only be granted for Portland State Univeristy related functions, including: classes, departments, and organizations.
Services included in the Mailing List:
E-mail list using the Mailman mailing list server.
Web based archiving of all email sent to the list. (The web page can be restricted to only list members, or only the administrator, if desired).
Easy to use web based mailing list manager. You can manage the configuration of items on the mailing list, like: subscribe/unsubcribe users, set the moderation level of your list for privacy, create an information file to be sent to new users, etc.
