The Portland State University Information Security Policy is designed to guide managers and others in the development of the standards and procedures that provide adequate protection for PSU information systems. This policy states the principles that will guide the protection of information at PSU, provides definitions for data classification and information ownership, assigns responsibility for various aspects of information security within PSU and outlines the process for requesting an exception to the policy.
