How can I turn on/off double-sided printing?

Duplexing (also referred to as double-sided printing) is printing on both the front and back sides of a single sheet of paper. Generally all OIT labs and classrooms printers are set up to duplex by default. In the event that you need to turn on/off duplex printing, follow the instructions below.

PC

  • Go to File menu and select Print. Click Properties and select the Finishing tab.
  • Under Document Options select Print On Both Sides to turn on duplex printing. Click OK to print.

Mac

  • Go to the File menu and select Print.
  • In the print dialogue box, select Layout from the Copies and Pages drop-down menu.
  • Under Two Sided Printing, select Long-edged binding to turn on duplex printing. Click OK to print.
