The Computing Infrastructure Services (CIS) department within the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) is responsible for the computing infrastructure used by faculty, staff, and students campus-wide. OIT-CIS teams architect, build, and maintain Portland State University’s (PSU’s) enterprise-level server hardware, operating systems, and applications. We also manage PSU's central data center which houses over 400 servers and a storage area network hosting 50+ terabytes of data.
